2013 version of Evil Dead on 4K in September

The 2013 version of “Evil Dead“ is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 27th via Scream Factory (Shout! Factory). The film, produced by Sam Raimi, directed & co-written by Fede Alvarez, starred Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, and Elizabeth Blackmore.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with presumably HDR10 (at least) form of high dynamic range and perhaps Dolby Atmos sound as well as the original DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless mix found on the previous release(s). The release will not include a Blu-ray and only the 4K UHD Blu-ray format disc. This will however include both the theatrical (91 min) and UNRATED edition (97 min) on the same 4K disc and they’re both obviously in 4K.
You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray now available for preorder over at Amazon. Also, you can order the 4K directly via the ShoutFactory.com store and get a bonus poster [while supplies last]. The bonus materials for this release are said to be “currently in progress” so, stay tuned for an update on that later along with the final tech specs.
Army of Darkness marches onto 4K in September

The 1992 film “Army of Darkness” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 27th via Scream Factory (Shout! Factory). The film, directed and co-written by Sam Raimi, starred Bruce Campbell, Embeth Davidtz, Marcus Gilbert, Ian Abercrombie, Bridget Fonda, and Richard Grove. The release will come in the form of a 4-disc “combo pack” with several Blu-ray Discs of the film included along with extras. There will be a standard 4K UHD Bluray (pictured above) and then also a limited-edition 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below).
The tech specs for the 4K releases include a 2160p video presentation in various aspect ratios and presumably with HDR10 (at least) and Dolby Atmos and the original 5.1 and 2.0 stereo lossless mixes. However, it has yet to be confirmed by Shout! Factory. So, stay tuned for an update on that and regarding other details.

According to Shout! Factory, the extras [bonus materials] are “currently in progress” and will be announced at a later point. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 4K and Blu-ray

The 2022 film “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on July 26th, via Marvel Studios (Disney). The film, directed by Sam Raimi, stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, and Rachel McAdams.
Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound. The 4K UHD Blu-ray release will include its Blu-ray counterpart and both will come with a digital code (copy) of the film.
UPDATE: You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s certainly worth noting that there will also be an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) available over at retailer Best Buy, which is now up for preorder.
UPDATES: It turns out that retailer Target will also be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray Art Edition of the film (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.
And, as if that weren’t enough choices, there’s also going to be a retailer exclusive over at Walmart for a 4K UHD Blu-ray with Limited-Edition Enamel Pin (pictured below). That’s available for preorder as well.

The 2020 remake of the film “The Grudge“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 24th, via Sony. The film (not to be mistaken for the 2004 remake) was directed by Nicolas Pesce & produced by Sam Raimi, and stars Tara Westwood, Junko Bailey, David Lawrence Brown, Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, Joel Marsh Garland, Bradley Sawatzky, Betty Gilpin, Lin Shaye, John Cho, and Jackie Weaver. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The release will come with a digital (code) copy of the film.
