One Battle After Another on 4K and Blu-ray in January

The 2025 film “One Battle After Another” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on January 20th, 2026, via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.
Paul Thomas Anderson directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, and Chase Infiniti. It’s certainly worth noting that this movie is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will include a digital code (copy) compatible with Movies Anywhere.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are now available to preorder at Amazon. Also, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available to preorder at online retailer GRUV. A 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook will be released later in 2026. It’s already listed but not available yet at GRUV. Stay tuned for an update on that!
The “One Battle After Another” 4K UHD SteelBook (available Spring 2026) will contain a bonus disc with special features created by Anderson. (Note: The 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD contain no special features.)

The 2018 critically acclaimed film “The Hate U Give” starring Amandla Stenberg is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 22nd, 2019 via Fox. This movie was absolutely loved by the critics, being “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes where (at time of writing) it carries a 97% rating. This is an adaptation of the novel (of the same title) written by Angie Thomas. The film was directed by George Tillman Jr. and features a supporting cast of Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby, Anthony Mackie, Issa Rae, Common, Algee Smith, KJ Apa, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and each getting a Digital Copy of the film included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are available to pre-order now over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on both releases are listed below.

“Law Abiding Citizen” with Jamie Foxx comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray in November
The 2009 F. Gary Gray directed film “Law Abiding Citizen“ starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 6th via Lionsgate. Tech specs for the release include 2160p 4K video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. This will come as a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and a Digital Copy of the film included. UPDATE: a PRE-ORDER listing for this 4K release of the film is now available over at Amazon.
