Admittedly, the release date doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as it had previously been reported here as a rumor but, now we get official confirmation from the studio in form of a press release, which can be found further below, after the break, along with the art for the Blu-ray version.
Now, take this “with a grain of salt” so-to-speak, as this is a film that just hit theaters and at this time is considered a very early RUMOR. According to Bill Hunt (over at The Digital Bits) it seems possible we might be seeing the brand-new 2018 Christopher McQuarrie directed film “Mission: Impossible Fallout” coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and and Blu-ray Disc as soon as around November – or as Bill said: “November-ish.”
UPDATE: Now Bill is indicating that retailers are showing a December 4th release date. Stay tuned for any further updates. Namely something official.
The PRE-ORDER listings are already up even though the film just hit theaters just late this week. The film has a “Certified Fresh” rating (with 97%) over at Rotten Tomatoes. PRE-ORDER listings (as mentioned) for the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc release are live now over at Amazon. It’s worth noting that you can NOW also find some ExclusiveSteelbooks that Best Buy has coming for both formats. Those Steelbooks are available for PRE-ORDER as well on both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc. They can be seen pictured further below, after the break.
