The set has received some new artwork for each film, as detailed below:
For the first time in its 37-year history, the Rambo series is coming home as a complete SteelBook® set – with original art by some of today’s most celebrated illustrators! Rambo: The Complete SteelBook Collection arrives on 4K Ultra HDTM October 27 from Lionsgate. This definitive collector’s edition of the legendary series features five uniquely designed SteelBooks by celebrated artists Justin Erickson, Ken Taylor, Grzegorz Domaradzki, Vance Kelly, and John Guydo, housed in a custom SteelBook case.
The tech specs for the films vary a tad here, across all five films. First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III will be in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. Rambowill be in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 as well as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound. Rambo: Last Blood will be in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 as well as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound. Each film will include its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy). Bonus materials will be identical to those found on the previous individual releases.
The 2019 sequel “Rambo: Last Blood” starring Sylvester Stallone is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 17th, via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Adrian Grunberg, co-stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adrianna Barraza, Joaquín Cosio, Yvette Monreal, and Óscar Jaenada. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting the Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting the DVD, and each including a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray are available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s worth noting that retailer Best Buy will have an exclusive 4K Steelbook (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.

The 2008 film “Rambo“ (AKA “Rambo IV”) starring Sylvester Stallone is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 3rd via Lionsgate. The film, also directed by Stallone, co-starred Julie Benz, Matthew Marsden, and Graham McTavish. This 4K release will include the Extended Cut (99-minute) and the Theatrical Cut (91-minute) versions of the film – both on the 4K disc. Tech specs for the 4K include 2160p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio (unlike the Blu-ray) in HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range with Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and digital code (copy) of the film also included. You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon. Tech specs for the releases include 2160p 4K video in the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio on each release. They all will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and Digital Copy of the film(s) included. There is no sign of a box set planned, yet, or any indication the fourth film will be released on 4K anytime soon. All three films are now available to PRE-ORDER over at Amazon.
