Catch Me If You Can comes to 4K in December

The 2002 film “Catch Me If You Can” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on December 9th via Paramount Home Media Distribution. Steven Spielberg directed and produced the movie. It starred Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Christopher Walken, Martin Sheen, Nathalie Baye, Amy Adams, James Brolin, and Jennifer Garner. It’s worth noting that this movie remains “Certified Fresh” based on critics’ reviews over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio featuring Dolby Vision and HDR10 with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook releases will both come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with their Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. A digital copy of the film is also included with each release.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) are now individually available for preorder at Amazon.

Xavier Beauvois directed film “The Guardians” comes to Blu-ray in August

Critically-acclaimed Xavier Beauvois directed French language film “The Guardians” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 28th via Music Box Films. The film stars Nathalie Baye, Laura Smet, and Iris Bry – to just name a few members of the cast. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and French Dolby Digital 5.1 sound with English subtitles. The title is not yet available for pre-order over at Amazon, but stay tuned for an update. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
