Supergirl Sixth Season and Complete Series on Blu-ray

The TV series “Supergirl: The Sixth and Final Season“ is officially coming to Blu-ray on March 8th, 2022 via Warner Brothers Home Entertainment. The show, which aired on the CW network, starred Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Reese Rath, Nicole Maines, Azie Tesfai, Julie Gonzalo, and Staz Nair.

The tech specs for the sixth season on Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, spanning across a 4-disc set. The release will include a digital code (copy) of the sixth season. You can now find the sixth season on Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. It is most certainly also worth noting for the fans of this TV series that a “Supergirl: The Complete Series“ set is coming to Blu-ray on March 8th as well. That set will include all six seasons, with 1080p HD and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound, spanning across a 22-disc set. “Whiplash” with Miles Teller on 4K in September

The 2014 film “Whiplash“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 22nd, via Sony. The film, which was written & directed by Damien Chazelle, starred Miles Teller, J.K. Simmons, Paul Reiser, Melissa Benoist, Austin Stowell, Chris Mulkey, and Suanne Spoke. We can tell by the art (pictured above) that the release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray listed for preorder over at Amazon. No other retailers yet have listed the title, but you can stay tuned to this post for any updates regarding this release.

UPDATE #1: This release has now been officially announced by the studio [Sony] today. The tech specs include 2160p 4K video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range along with Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

The 2019 Kevin Smith film “Jay & Silent Bob Reboot“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 21st, 2020 via Lionsgate. The film stars Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jason Lee, Rosario Dawson, Shannon Elizabeth, Justin Long, Joey Lauren Adams, Harley Quinn Smith, Treshelle Edmond, Alice Wen, Donnell Rawlings, Melissa Benoist, Val Kilmer, Brian O’Halloran, and Stan Lee.
