The Last Duel comes to 4K and Blu-ray in December

The 2021 film “The Last Duel” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on December 14th, via 20th Century Studios (Disney). The film, directed by Ridley Scott, stars Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer, Harriet Walter, and Ben Affleck. At the time of writing, it is certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound. Both releases will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray will come in the form of a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

The 2000 film “The Legend of Bagger Vance” will be finally making its debut to the Blu-ray Disc format on May 25th, via Paramount Home Entertainment, according to retailers. The film, directed by Robert Redford, starred Will Smith, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, and Jack Lemmon as the narrator. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Yes, no lossless surround sound mix will be found on this release according to the back package art. You can now find the Blu-ray listed for preorder over at Amazon. Elysium starring Matt Damon comes to 4K in February

The 2013 film “Elysium” starring Matt Damon is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on February 9th, 2021, via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film, written & directed by Neill Blomkamp, co-starred Jodie Foster, Sharlto Copley, Alice Braga, Diego Luna, Wagner Moura, and William Fichtner. The tech specs for the release include a 4K video presentation in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) Of the film. The 2019 film “Ford v Ferrari” starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 11th via Fox. The film, based on a true story & directed by James Mangold, co-stars Jon Bernthal, Tracy Letts, and Remo Girone. This movie has received quite a bit of critical acclaim during its theatrical run, in fact, at the time of writing this carries a “Certified Fresh” rating over at Rotten Tomatoes. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The technical specifications for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 sound.
