2006 film “Crank” starring Jason Statham arrives on 4K UHD Blu-ray in May
The 2006 film “Crank“ starring Jason Statham is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 21st via Lionsgate. The film, both written & directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, featured a supporting cast that included Amy Smart, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Carlos Sanz, Efren Ramirez, Glenn Howerton, and Dwight Yoakam.
Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and a digital copy of the film included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is available for pre-order now over at Best Buy, although is not yet listed over at Amazon. Stay tuned for an update on that.
