The 1996 film Black Sheep is coming to 4K in March

The 1996 comedy Black Sheep” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on March 25th via KL Studio Classics. Penelope Spheeris directed the film, which was written by Fred Wolf. It starred Chris Farley, David Spade, Tim Matheson, Christine Ebersole, Gary Busey, Grant Heslov, Timothy Carhart, and Bruce McGill.

The movie has received a new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround, and 2.0 Stereo lossless sound on a BD-100 disc. The 4K release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

The 1991 horror film “Body Parts” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on February 25th via KL Studio Classics. Eric Red directed the film, which starred Jeff FaheyKim DelaneyLindsay DuncanZakes MokaeBrad DourifJohn Walsh, and Paul Ben-Victor.

The movie has received a new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 Stereo sound, on a BD-100 disc. The movie has received new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The 1997 film “Dante’s Peak” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 27th via KL Studio Classics. Roger Donaldson directed the film. It starred Pierce BrosnanLinda HamiltonElizabeth Hoffman, and Charles Hallahan. It also featured Grant Heslov, Jamie Renée Smith, and Jeremy Foley. Brian Reddy, Peter Jason, and Tzi Ma completed the cast.

UPDATED: Note that this title was originally slated for a February release date, but that was pushed back to April. And now it’s been pushed back a month yet again.
