The 1991 film “Dead Again“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc for the first time in North America on October 5th, via Paramount Home Entertainment, according to retail sources. The film, directed by Kenneth Branagh (also in the cast), starred Andy Garcia, Emma Thompson, Lois Hall, Richard Easton, Jo Anderson, Patrick Montes, Robin Williams, Wayne Knight, and Derek Jacobi.

The 2020 film “Tenet” starring John David Washington is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 15th, via Warner. The film, written and directed by Christopher Nolan, co-stars Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, and Michael Caine.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray will arrive as a “combo pack” meaning that it will include a Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. The Blu-ray release (pictured below) will also come as a “combo pack” and include a DVD counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include a 2160p presentation with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound mix. The Blu-ray release should include a 1080p presentation and also should contain a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound mix.
UPDATE: You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray listed for preorder over at Amazon and at retailer Best Buy. There will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release of the film which will be exclusive to retailer Best Buy (pictured below). It is now available for preorder at Best Buy.
Both the 4K and Blu-ray physical releases will contain the following bonus material listed below.
- Looking at the World in a New Way: The Making of “Tenet” – An hour-long exploration of the development and production of the film as told by the cast and crew.

The five “Marvel Cinematic Universe” films “Iron Man“ (2008), “Iron Man 2“ (2010), “Iron Man 3“ (2013), “Thor“ (2011), and “Thor: The Dark World“ (2013) are all coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on August 13th via Disney‘s Marvel Studios. These films’ tech specs on 4K all include 2160p video with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. One last thing from a technical side: there is a variety of the 2.35:1 to 2.40:1 aspect ratios on the five different films. These films all will come in the form of “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy of each included.
All five of these “MCU” film on 4K UHD Blu-ray are now available for pre-order over at Amazon and Best Buy. Bonus materials will be included on the Blu-ray releases and are identical to their previous releases. There will also be limited edition 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook releases for each film exclusive to retailer Best Buy. The film, directed by Kenneth Branagh, featured a cast of Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden, Helena Bonham Carter, Nonso Anozie, and Stellan Skarsgard. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. The 4K release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc included as well as a digital copy of the film. Retailer Best Buy will be getting an Exclusive 4K Steelbook release for the film which you can find available for pre-order and pictured below.

According to an early alert to retails the “Jack Ryan 5-Film Collection” it seems is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on August 21st via Paramount. The films had been rumored for 4K release individually, however now we get confirmation via this retail listing that they will be bundled – just as the first 4 films have been on both Blu-ray and HD-DVD formats. The release contains the following films:
