Kevin Smith’s The 4:30 Movie on 4K and Blu-ray in November

The 2024 film “The 4:30 Movie” is coming to Blu-ray Disc and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on November 5th via Lionsgate. The film, written & directed by Kevin Smith, stars Austin Zajur, Nicholas Cirillo, Reed Northrup, Siena Agudong, Kate Micucci, Ming Chen, Betty Aberlin, Method Man, Ralph Garman, Sam Richardson, Ken Jeong, Jeff Anderson, Jason Mewes, Justin Long, Harley Quinn Smith, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, and Jason Biggs.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both the 4K SteelBook and Blu-ray releases will come as a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray Disc counterpart, the Blu-ray getting its DVD counterpart, and each getting a digital copy. You can now find the Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook exclusively available for preorder at Amazon. Yes, the 4K SteelBook will be an Amazon exclusive. However, the Blu-ray will be available at all retailers. The following bonus materials are set to be included with the releases.

The 1999 film “Galaxy Quest” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on December 3rd via Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film, celebrating its 25th anniversary, directed by Dean Parisot, starred Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, Sam Rockwell, Enrico Colantoni, Daryl Mitchell, Missi Pyle, and Justin Long.

Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) at Amazon. Each 4K release comes with a digital copy. The 2009 horror film “Drag Me to Hell” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 29th via Scream Factory. The film, directed & co-written by Sam Raimi, starred Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Lorna Raver, Dileep Rao, David Paymer, and Adriana Barraza. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon, at online retailer GRUV, and directly via Shout! Factory’s website. This release will include both the theatrical version and UNRATED Director’s Cut. The bonus materials for the release have yet to be announced.

Creepshow Season 2 on Blu-ray in December
