Snakes on a Plane is coming to 4K in January

The 2006 film “Snakes on a Plane” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in Limited Edition releases on January 20th, 2026, via Arrow Video. David R. Ellis directed the movie, which starred Samuel L. Jackson. It co-starred Julianna Margulies, Kenan Thompson, Nathan Phillips, Rachel Blanchard, Bobby Cannavale, and David Koechner.

Arrow Video has given the movie a new restoration. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The Blu-ray tech specs include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray Limited Edition and Blu-ray Limited Edition are now available for preorder at Amazon. You can also preorder directly via the Arrow Video website. The physical extras set to be included on these limited edition sets can be seen pictured below.

“The Upside” with Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston on Blu-ray in May

The 2019 film “The Upside“ starring Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 21st, via Universal. The film, which was directed by Neil Burger, co-stars Nicole Kidman, Aja Naomi King, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Genevieve Angelson, Golshifteh Farahani, Tate Donovan, and Julianna Margulies. Tech specs for the release include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and a digital copy of the film included. The Blu-ray is available for pre-order now over at Amazon and at Best Buy. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

I am only saying this is a rumor as the studio has not yet officially announced this title. The film, directed by Neil Burger, co-stars Nicole Kidman, Aja Naomi King, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Genevieve Angelson, Golshifteh Farahani, Tate Donovan, and Julianna Margulies. There is no info yet regarding tech specs or bonus materials set to be included on the release. It is known that it will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and digital copy of the film included.
