The Nevers Season 1 Part 1 comes to Blu-ray in October

The HBO original series “The Nevers: Season 1 Part 1“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 5th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The show, created by Joss Whedon, stars Laura Donnelly, Ann Skelly, Olivia Williams, James Norton, Tom Riley, Rochelle Neil, Eleanor Tomlinson, Amy Manson, Pip Torrens, Denis O’Hare, Zackary Momoh, Elizabeth Berrington, Kiran Sonia Sawar, Anna Devlin, Viola Prettejohn, Ella Smith, Nick Frost, and Ben Chaplin. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, spanning across a 2-disc set. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the first season, part one. You can find the Blu-ray now available for preorder over at Amazon. “The Avengers” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” come to 4K UHD Blu-ray in August

Both  films “The Avengers” (2012) and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015) are coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on August 14th (the same day as the sequel) via Marvel Studios (Disney). It’s worth noting that both films were directed by Joss Whedon.

The tech specs for both releases will include full 2160p 4K video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio for “The Avengers” and 2.35:1 aspect ratio for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” with both getting Dolby Atmos sound. Both of these films on 4K UHD Blu-ray are available now for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. Just click on their names above for links. Bonus materials set to be included on the releases have not yet been detailed, even in the press release, but you can likely expect all the previous Blu-ray materials ported over via the included Blu-ray Disc in each “combo pack” which will also include a Digital Copy of each film.

UPDATE: Okay, so not only are these coming out it seems as standard 4K releases but they’ll also be getting Exclusive Steelbook 4K UHD Blu-ray releases over at Best Buy, as you’ll find below. PRE-ORDER listings for those are live as well as ones for the standard 4K versions over there at Best Buy.
