The Accountant 2 on 4K and Blu-ray in August

The 2025 sequel “The Accountant 2” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on August 12th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. This release comes from Amazon MGM Studios. Gavin O’Connor directed the movie. It stars Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson, and J.K. Simmons. It’s certainly worth noting that the movie is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range. Audio on the 4K and Blu-ray will be presented in Dolby Atmos. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio. Both releases will include a digital copy of the film.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are both now available for preorder at Amazon. No bonus materials will be included with either release. The 2006 film World Trade Center is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on August 12th via Shout Select (Shout! Studios). Oliver Stone directed the film. It starred Nicolas Cage, Michael Pena, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Maria Bello, Jon Bernthal, Frank Whaley, and Stephen Dorff.

This features a new 4K restoration supervised by Oliver Stone. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 with Dolby Vision and HDR10. It will also feature Dolby Atmos as well as lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc included.

The 2015 film “Fury” will get a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release on July 15th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. David Ayer wrote and directed the movie. It starred Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, Jon Bernthal, Jason Isaacs, and Scott Eastwood. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” by critics on Rotten Tomatoes. NOTE: This film was previously released on 4K UHD Blu-ray back in 2018. This version features Dolby Vision, whereas that version only had HDR10.

Home Entertainment.  The film, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green & based on a true story, stars Will Smith, Aunjanue Ellis, Jon Bernthal, Saniyya Sidney, and Demi Singleton.  It is most certainly worth noting, that at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 14th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Martin Scorsese and based on a true story, starred Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Bernthal, and Jon Favreau.

The movie has received a new transfer that was supervised by the director, Martin Scorsese. The tech specs for the release have not yet all been detailed but stay tuned for an update. The 2160p video presentation should at least include HDR10 form of high dynamic range. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the standard 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s also worth noting that a limited edition 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) will be available on the same date.
