I Know What You Did Last Summer on 4K SteelBook

The 1997 film “I Know What You Did Last Summer” gets a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on June 24th. This limited edition release will come via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Jim Gillespie directed the film. It starred Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Freddie Prinze Jr., Johnny Galecki, and Bridgette Wilson.
NOTE: This movie was previously released on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format in 2022. Nothing new is included with this release.
The release features a scan from the original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10). It also includes Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Also, a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere, will be included. You can find a glimpse at the artwork, packaging, and disc below.

The 1989 film “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 1st via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, according to numerous retail sources. The film, written by the legendary late John Hughes and directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik, starred Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Juliette Lewis, Johnny Galecki, Randy Quaid, Miriam Flynn, John Randolph, Diane Ladd, E.G. Marshall, Doris Roberts, Mae Questel, William Hickey, Nicholas Guest, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound as well as 2.0 Stereo (presumably also lossless). The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart as well as include a digital code (copy) of the film which is compatible with Movies Anywhere.

TV Show “The Big Bang Theory: The Twelfth and Final Season“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 12th via Warner. The show, created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, ran from 2007 through 2019 and it featured a cast of Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, and Mayim Bialik. Tech specs for the twelfth season on Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound spanning across a 2-disc set.
