M3GAN 2.0 comes to 4K and Blu-ray in September

The 2025 sequel “M3GAN 2.0” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on September 23rd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. It will also arrive on 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured in the center above). Gerard Johnstone directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Ivanna Sakhno, and Jemaine Clement. The home video releases will include both an UNRATED cut and the theatrical version.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. Technical specifications for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both the 4K and Blu-ray releases will include a digital copy of the film compatible with Movies Anywhere.

Disney’s Moana 2 on 4K and Blu-ray in March

The 2024 film “Moana 2” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray Disc on March 18th via Disney. The film was co-directed by David G. Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller. The voice cast includes Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson , Hualalai Chung, Rose Matafeo, Alan Tudyk, and Jemaine Clement.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. Both releases will come as a “combo pack.” The 4K will include its Blu-ray Disc counterpart. The Blu-ray will include its DVD counterpart. Each release will also include a digital copy of the film.

The 2016 animated film “Moana“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 5th via Disney, according to retailers. The Academy Award-nominated film, co-directed by Ron Clements, John Musker, Don Hall, & Chris Williams, featured the voice talents of Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger, and Alan Tudyk. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with the HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc and a digital code (copy) of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon. It is worth noting that there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook exclusive release at retailer Best Buy (pictured below).

“An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn” starring Aubrey Plaza on Blu-ray January

The 2018 film “An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn“ starring Aubrey Plaza is coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 8th, 2019 via Universal, according to retailers. The film, directed & co-wrote by Jim Hosking, co-stars Emile Hirsch, Jemaine Clement, Matt Berry, Craig Robinson and Maria Bamford. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. There will be a Digital Copy of the film included. The Blu-ray is available to pre-order over at Amazon. Bonus materials will not be included on this release.
