The Office: The Complete Series on Blu-ray November

– Amazon Commissions Earned –

Well, it’s about damn time! That’s what she said. But seriously, “The Office: The Complete Series” is finally getting a Blu-ray Disc box set of all nine seasons for the first time on November 10th via Universal, according to retailers. The tech specs and bonus materials for the box set have not yet been detailed, but they should contain 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound, as found on previous seasons that appeared on the format. There’s no word yet if the release will come with a digital copy of the series, as Season 8 on the format did. All we know really for certain so far is that release date, that it’ll contain all of the seasons, including some very nice artwork (pictured above), and that the set on Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon.

The now cult-classic TV show ran for a total of 9 seasons, for 188 episodes, from 2005 through 2013 on the NBC network. The show, a remake of sorts of the British TV series of the same title, was adapted by Greg Daniels. The Office (U.S.) starred Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, Jenna FischerJohn Krasinski, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Angela Kinsey, Phyllis Smith, Kate Flannery, Creed Bratton, Oscar Nuñez, B.J. Novak, Mindy Kaling, Ed Helms, Paul Lieberstein, Craig Robinson, Ellie Kemper, Andy Buckley, Catherine Tate, Rashida Jones, Melora Hardin, Zach Woods, and James Spader.

No word about any bonus materials either, so I’m guessing there will not be any included. The Blu-ray Disc is now available for pre-order over at Amazon.
