Song Sung Blue is coming to Blu-ray in February

The movie was written, produced, and directed by Craig Brewer. It stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Its supporting cast includes Michael Imperioli, Jim Belushi, Fisher Stevens, Ella Anderson, and Mustafa Shakir. It’s certainly worth noting that this motion picture is rated both “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in [primarily] a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby TrueHD 7.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will include a digital code (copy) of the movie, compatible with Movies Anywhere. UPDATED: You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder at GRUV and Walmart. It’s not yet listed on Amazon, but stay tuned for an update.

Deadpool & Wolverine on 4K and Blu-ray in October

The 2024 film “Deadpool & Wolverine” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, and Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd via 20th Century Studios (Disney). The film, directed by Shawn Levy, stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Dafne Keen, Jon Favreau, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Jennifer Garner, Wesley Snipes, Channing Tatum, and Chris Evans. It’s worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K releases will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both the 4K and Blu-ray releases will feature a digital copy.

The 2021 film “Reminiscence” starring Hugh Jackman is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on November 9th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, written & directed by Lisa Joy, co-stars Rebecca Ferguson, Thandie Newton, Cliff Curtis, and Marina de Tavira.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K UHD Blu-ray will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart. The 2006 DreamWorks & Aardman animated film Flushed Away comes to Blu-ray Disc for the first time on June 4th via Universal, according to early alerts to retailers. The movie, directed by David Bowers and Sam Fell, featured the voice talents of Hugh JackmanKate WinsletIan McKellen, Jean Reno, Bill Nighy, and Andy Serkis. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The Blu-ray is available to pre-order now over at Amazon. “The Front Runner” starring Hugh Jackman is coming to Blu-ray in February

The 2018 film Jason Reitman directed film “The Front Runner” starring Hugh Jackman is coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 12th via Sony, according to an early alert to retailers. The film, based on a true story, co-stars Vera FarmigaJ.K. Simmons, Mark O’Brien, Molly Ephraim, Chris Coy, and Alfred Molina. Tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for an update. You can find the Blu-ray is available for pre-order over at Amazon.

UPDATE: The title has now been officially announced by Sony and we still have no clue what the tech specs for the release are, but we do know what the bonus materials will be and they are listed below.

Fox is bringing an “X-Men 3-Film Collection” to 4K UHD Blu-ray in September

The first three films in the “X-Men” film franchise will be getting released in the form of the X-Men 3-Film Collection on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format on September 25th via Fox, according to retailer listings. The title has not yet officially been announced by the studio, so we don’t have any specific tech specs to go on here. It’s worth noting that this joins the three latter “X-Men” films already available on the format, also released bundled together, but also separately. No word yet on if these will receive individual releases, like the latter films, anytime soon or not.

The release will be a 6-disc “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Discs of the three films also included, along with a Digital Copy of each film. The three films included in this set are “X-Men” (2000), “X2: X-Men United” (2003) – both directed by Bryan Singer – and “X-Men: The Last Stand” (2006) directed by Brett Ratner. The 4K set is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. UPDATE: This title is now available for PRE-ORDER also over at Best Buy, again with the cover art I originally featured.
