Zootopia 2 is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in March

Commissions Earned

The 2025 Walt Disney Animation Studios sequel “Zootopia 2” will get physical media releases on 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray Disc on March 3rd, via Disney.

The movie was co-directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. It features the voice talents of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Ke Huy Qua, as well as Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Idris Elba, Shakira, Patrick Warburton, Bonnie Hunt, and Danny Trejo.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound on a BD-50 disc. The 4K and Blu-ray releases will each be a 2-disc “combo pack,” with the 4K including its Blu-ray counterpart, and the Blu-ray including its DVD counterpart. Both releases will contain a digital code (copy) of the movie compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The Twilight Zone with Jordan Peele on Blu-ray

The 2019 reboot of “The Twilight Zone“ hosted by Jordan Peele, in its first season (Season One), will be getting a Blu-ray Disc release on February 18th, 2020 via Paramount, according to retailers. The show, which aired on CBS All Access, has been renewed for a second season (next year). Here, in its first season, the show featured cast members like Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Sanaa Lathan, Steven Yeun, Greg Kinnear, John Cho, Jacob Tremblay, DeWanda Wise, Taissa Farmiga, Ginnifer Goodwin, Chris O’Dowd, Zazie Beetz, and Seth Rogen. Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed, but it is known that it will be a 5-disc set – including all 10 episodes. I’ll be updating this story later on, once I get some more info regarding this release from the folks at Paramount (or CBS). Stay tuned. The Academy Award-winning film, co-directed by Byron Howard, Rich Moore, & Jared Bush, featured the voice talents of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Jenny Slate, Nate Torrence, Bonnie Hunt, Don Lake, Tommy Chong, J.K. Simmons, Octavia Spencer, Alan Tudyk, and Shakira. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc and a digital code (copy) of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon. It is worth noting that there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook exclusive release at retailer Best Buy (pictured below).
