The movie features a new 4K restoration from the original 35mm negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.66:1 aspect ratio, in SDR (standard dynamic range), with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio Mono and 5.1 surround sound configurations. The Blu-ray version’s tech specs include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.66:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD MA Mono and 5.1 surround sound. The release will be a 3-disc set for each format. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a black and white 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, in SDR (standard dynamic range), with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 surround sound. This 2-disc set will come as a “combo pack” featuring its Blu-ray counterpart.

The 1999 film End of Days comes to 4K in October

The 1999 film End of Days is getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray “25th Anniversary Edition” release on October 7th via Scream Factory. Peter Hyams directed the film, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. It co-starred Gabriel Byrne, Robin Tunney, Kevin Pollak, and CCH Pounder.

The motion picture received a new 4K scan from the original camera negative and has been approved by director/cinematographer Peter Hyams. The tech specs for 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation, in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, with Dolby Vision and HDR10, accompanied by lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo sound. The 2-disc release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

The 1994 film Little Women is coming to 4K in November

The 1994 film adaptation of “Little Women” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 19th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Gillian Armstrong, starred Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes, Susan Sarandon, Gabriel Byrne, Trini Alvarado, Christian Bale, Eric Stoltz, and John Neville.

This includes a new scan from the original camera negative. Tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 channel surround sound mixes. Ari Aster film “Hereditary” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in September

The 2018 Ari Aster film “Hereditary” starring Toni Collette is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on September 4th via Lionsgate. The film is, at time of writing this, currently “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes. In fact it’s received quite some critical-acclaim so far.

UPDATE: Tech specs are as follows: The 4K UHD Blu-ray will receive full 2160p 4K video in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound, and both HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range. The Blu-ray will receive full 1080p HD video in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray are both now available for PRE-ORDER.

Each release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K UHD Blu-ray getting a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and with both getting a Digital Copy of the film included. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
