“The Invisible Man” 2020 on 4K and Blu-ray May

The 2020 version of “The Invisible Man” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on May 26th, via Universal, according to retailers. The film, directed by Leigh Whannell & produced by Jason Blum‘s Blumhouse, stars Elisabeth Moss, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Harriet Dyer, Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid, and Michael Dorman. The film received a very good response from both film critics and moviegoers, in fact, it carries a “Certified Fresh” rating over at Rotten Tomatoes. Tech specs for the 4K release include video presented in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound on a BD-100 (100 gigabytes) disc. The technical specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both versions of the film (on home video) will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the 4K will be getting its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray will be getting a DVD, and each includes a digital code (copy of the film). You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray both available for preorder over at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included on the releases are listed below and do note that the 4K UHD Blu-ray features all the extras in 4K resolution.

Light of My Life is coming to Blu-ray in October
The 2019 film “Light of my Life“ starring Casey Affleck and Anna Pniowsky is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 8th via Paramount. The film was both written and directed by its star Casey Affleck. Tech specs for the Blu-ray have not yet been officially detailed but you can for sure expect 1080p HD video and uncompressed sound. Stay tuned for hopefully an update on that soon. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can find the Blu-ray now available to pre-order over at Amazon. No bonus materials will be included on this release.
Jordan Peele film Us comes to 4K and Blu-ray in June
The 2019 Jordan Peele film “Us” is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on June 18th via Universal. The film, “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes, stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Tim Heidecker, and Elisabeth Moss.
The tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio in both HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range with Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. The releases will both come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray Disc and the Blu-ray getting a DVD included in addition to a digital copy of the film. Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray are now available for pre-order over at Amazon and Best Buy. Retailer Best Buy will be getting an Exclusive 4K Steelbook release (pictured below) that you can pre-order now.

“The Handmaid’s Tale Season Two” is coming to Blu-ray in early December
The TV Series “The Handmaid’s Tale Season Two“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 4th via MGM (distributed by Fox). The Emmy Award-winning drama TV series was created by Bruce Miller, and can be seen streaming on Hulu. The cast to the series includes Elisabeth Moss, Max Minghella, Yvonne Strahovski, Joseph Fiennes, Ann Dowd, and Amanda Brugel.
Tech specs for the release include 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound, spanning across a 4-disc set.
