The 2019 sequel “Happy Death Day 2U“ is rumored to be coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 14th via Universal, according to early alerts to retailers. I am only saying this is a rumor as the studio has not yet officially announced this title. The film, produced by Blumhouse & directed by Christopher Landon, includes a cast of Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Phi Vu, Suraj Sharma, Sarah Yarkin, Rachel Matthews, and Ruby Modine. It is known that it will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and digital copy of the film included. The Blu-ray is already available to pre-order over at Amazon and it even has a placeholder over at Best Buy (with the release date listed).

Production company Blumhouse has now posted a promotional ad on Twitter for the home video release which you can find HERE. The 2019 M. Night Shyamalan written & directed film “Glass” is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on April 16th via Universal, according to an early alert to retailers. The film just released last week theatrically is a sequel to the films “Unbreakable” (2000) and “Split” (2016). Glass features a cast of James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sarah Paulson.

The 2018 film “Halloween” directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 15th, 2019 via Universal. The film is a sequel to John Carpenter‘s original 1978 classic (of the same title). Carpenter contributed music to this and served as an executive producer, along with Jamie Lee Curtis. Danny McBride co-wrote the screenplay and also served as an executive producer. It’s also worth noting that this film was a joint venture with Jason Blum (producer) and his production house Blumhouse. The cast includes Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, and Nick Castle. This (at time of writing) is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes by the critics, and seems to have been liked by moviegoers as well.

TV series “The Purge: Season One“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 8th, 2019 via Universal, according to early alerts to retail. The TV show, based on the film and produced by Blumhouse, can be seen on the USANetwork. The 2018 film “The First Purge“ is not only coming to 4K and Blu-ray (as reported) but it’s also going to be getting an ExclusiveSteelbook4K UHD Blu-ray release over at Best Buy. The Steelbook version, and other version of the film will be available on October 2nd, via Universal. “The First Purge“ 4K Steelbook is available for PRE-ORDER now over at Best Buy.
