“Galveston” starring Ben Foster on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in December

The 2018 film “Galveston” starring Ben Foster and Elle Fanning is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 11th via RLJ Entertainment, according to early alerts to retailers. The film, directed by Mélanie Laurent, co-stars Lili ReinhartRobert Aramayo, and Beau Bridges. Tech specs for the release and bonus materials have not yet been detailed. It is known that the 4K release will come in the from of a “combo pack” getting a Blu-ray included of the film – also likely for bonus materials. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are available to pre-order over at Amazon.

Fox is bringing an “X-Men 3-Film Collection” to 4K UHD Blu-ray in September

The first three films in the “X-Men” film franchise will be getting released in the form of the X-Men 3-Film Collection on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format on September 25th via Fox, according to retailer listings. The title has not yet officially been announced by the studio, so we don’t have any specific tech specs to go on here. It’s worth noting that this joins the three latter “X-Men” films already available on the format, also released bundled together, but also separately. No word yet on if these will receive individual releases, like the latter films, anytime soon or not.

The release will be a 6-disc “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Discs of the three films also included, along with a Digital Copy of each film. The three films included in this set are “X-Men” (2000), “X2: X-Men United” (2003) – both directed by Bryan Singer – and “X-Men: The Last Stand” (2006) directed by Brett Ratner. The 4K set is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. UPDATE: This title is now available for PRE-ORDER also over at Best Buy, again with the cover art I originally featured.

Debra Granik film “Leave No Trace” with Ben Foster comes to Blu-ray in October

The 2018 Debra Granik directed film Leave No Trace starring Thomasin McKenzie and Ben Foster is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 2nd via Universal. The film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes, with an astounding perfect 100% rating. Safe to say that critics all seemed to love this film. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. 2004 film “The Punisher” with Thomas Jane comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray September

The 2004 Jonathan Hensleigh directed film The Punisher starring Thomas Jane  and John Travolta is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 25th via Lionsgate. Tech specs for the release include full 2160p 4K video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both varieties of High Dynamic Range, HDR10 and Dolby Vision will be included. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc, as well as a Digital Copy, of the film also included. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
