The 2021 film “House of Gucci“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 22nd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment, according to retailers. The film, directed by Ridley Scott, stars Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek, Jack Huston, and Al Pacino.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound on a BD-50 disc. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning it will include its DVD counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon and retailer Best Buy. The bonus materials set to be included with the release are listed below.

The 2021 film “The Last Duel” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on December 14th, via 20th Century Studios (Disney). The film, directed by Ridley Scott, stars Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer, Harriet Walter, and Ben Affleck. At the time of writing, it is certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound. Both releases will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray will come in the form of a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

The remaining films in the “Star Wars” film franchise – so far – are all coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on March 31st it seems, via Disney, according to retailer listings. There will first be a very lavish, expensive box set available (seemingly exclusive) at retailer Best Buy called “The Skywalker Saga” (pictured above) which is now available for preorder. That Skywalker Saga set will include Episodes 1-9 of the films, as well as two Blu-ray Disc counterparts for each film, filled with bonus materials – yet to be detailed. Stay tuned for further details regarding this release as it develops.
Now, as of today, there also are most certainly individual releases for Episodes 1-7 coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on March 31st as well as the film “Rogue One – A Star Wars Story” (2016). It’s certainly worth noting that these titles are now all listed over at retailer Best Buy, individually. So, as you’d expect I’ll be listing the films coming out in theatrical chronological order with direct links to the Best Buy preorder listings – not yet functional but currently placeholder pages. UPDATED: I am now adding Amazon preorder listings to this post as they are getting listed.

Abrams, starred Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, Ian McDiarmid, and Billy Dee Williams. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The technical specs for the Blu-ray include HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 sound. The 2019 Jim Jarmusch film “The Dead Don’t Die“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on September 10th via Universal, according to early retailer alerts. The film, a comedy involving zombies, features an all-star cast of Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Rosie Perez, Carol Kane, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, and Tom Waits. Tech specs and bonus materials have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for an update. It is known that the release will come with a digital copy of the film. You can already find the Blu-ray available for pre-order over at Amazon and is listed over at retailer Best Buy (with release date). Lastly, sadly there does not appear to be a 4K physical release of this film planned.
The 2018 Spike Lee joint (directed film) “BlacKkKlansman” is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on November 6th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film, produced by Jordan Peele and Jason Blum, stars John David Washington and Adam Driver. At time of writing, this motion picture is currently “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes, where it is carrying an impressive 95% rating from critics.
Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include 2160p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with both HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range as well as Dolby Atmos sound. The Blu-ray’s tech specs include full 1080p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound as well. The 4K version will come in the form of “combo pack” including a Blu-ray and a digital copy of the film, while the Blu-ray version will only include a digital copy of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are both available now for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on both releases are listed below.
