The 1994 film “Speed” will officially be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 4th via 20th Century Studios (Disney). The film, directed by Jan de Bont, starred Keanu Reeves, Dennis Hopper, and Sandra Bullock. The tech specs for the release include a 2160p presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy of the film.
The bonus materials set to be included on the 4K release are listed further below, after the break, in the press release. There will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook of the film available on May 4th as an exclusive over at retailer Best Buy(pictured below).

The 2020 film “The New Mutants” is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on November 17th, via Fox, according to an early retailer alert. The film, directed & co-written by Josh Boone, stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. The tech specs for the 4K and Blu-ray have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for an update on that.
