Furiosa Black and Chrome Edition on 4K in September

The 2024 film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” the “Black & Chrome Edition” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 24th individually and as part of “Mad Max: 5-Film Collection“ via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film was directed & co-written by George Miller, known for correspondingly directing all of the previous “Mad Max” franchise films. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne, Tom Burke, George Shevtsov, Lachy Hulme, John Howard, Angus Sampson, and Charlee Fraser. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.
“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition is a version of the theatrical film which has the color removed in favor of a black a chrome aesthetic. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition will feature an introduction by director George Miller.”
There will an individual 4K UHD Blu-ray release of this version of the film. Also, the “Black & Chrome Edition” of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” will be included with the “Mad Max: 5-Film Collection“ on 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured below). No Blu-ray version of this collection is planned stateside. This set is now available for preorder over at Amazon, retailer Walmart, and online retailer GRUV. NOTE: The standard version of “Furiousa: A Mad Max Saga” on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc will be released in August before this version. You’ll have to wait until September to get this version of the film physically.
