Despicable Me 4 comes to 4K and Blu-ray in September

The 2024 animated sequel “Despicable Me 4” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on September 24th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film, co-directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage, features the voice talents of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Pierre Coffin, Joey King, Miranda Cosgrove, Stephen Colbert, Sofía Vergara, and Will Ferrell.

Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray counterpart included. The 4K and Blu-ray releases will come with a digital copy.
