The 1971 film “Play Misty for Me” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 5th via KL Studio Classics. The film, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood, co-starred Jessica Walter, Donna Mills, John Larch, Jack Ging, and Don Siegel.

This comes from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 Stereo lossless sound mixes. The tech specs for the included Blu-ray are 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 sound. Borderlands comes to 4K and Blu-ray in October

According to retailers, the 2024 film “Borderlands” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd via Lionsgate. The film, based on the 2K video game of the same title, directed and co-written by Eli Roth, stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. This release features a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, supervised and approved by director Oliver Stone. According to retailers, the 1954 musical/comedy film “White Christmas” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 5th via Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film, directed by Michael Curtiz, starred Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, Dean Jagger, Emma Allen, and Anne Whitfield. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is celebrating its 70th anniversary.
