The 2024 stop motion animated film “Memoir of a Snail” will be released on Blu-ray Disc on March 25th via IFC Films. The movie was both written & directed by Adam Elliot, best known for also directing the stop motion animated films “Harvey Krumpet” (2003) and “Mary and Max” (2009). The voice cast includes Sarah Snook, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Eric Bana, Nick Cave, and Jacki Weaver. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, based on critics’ reviews.

Red One is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in March

The 2024 film “Red One” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on March 4th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Jake Kasdan, starred Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, and J.K. Simmons.

The 4K tech specs include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The 1975 music “Tommy” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray via Shout Select (Shout! Studios) on March 18th. The film, directed by Ken Russell, featured music by “The Who” and guest musical performers. The cast featured Roger Daltrey in the role of “Tommy”. It also included Ann-Margret, Oliver Reed, and Elton John. Additionally, Eric Clapton, Keith Moon, and Jack Nicholson appeared. The lineup was completed by Tina Turner, John Entwistle, and Pete Townshend. This motion picture is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The movie received a new 4K transfer from the 35mm original camera negative and 35mm color interpositive. The 1984 film Amadeus is coming to 4K in February

According to retailers, the 1984 film Amadeus will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on February 25th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. This will only include the theatrical cut of the film. Milos Forman directed the movie, which starred F. Murray Abraham, Tom Hulce, Elizabeth Berridge, Simon Callow, and Roy Dotrice. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” based on critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
