2024 film Babygirl on 4K and Blu-ray in March

The 2024 film “Babygirl” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on March 18th via A24. The movie was written & directed by Halina Reijn. It stars Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Antonio Banderas, Sophie Wilde, and Esther McGregor. It’s worth noting this film is “Certified Fresh” based on critics at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound.

The Andromeda Strain is coming to 4K in May

The 1971 film “The Andromeda Strain” will be released via Arrow Video on 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 13th. This will be a limited edition release. The film, directed by Robert Wise, was based on the novel written by Michael Crichton. It starred Arthur Hill, David Wayne, James Olsen, Kate Reid, Paula Kelly, George Mitchell, Ramon Bieri, and Kermit Murdock.

The movie has received a 4K restoration from the original camera negative, by Arrow Films. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio mono sound.

Love Hurts comes to 4K and Blu-ray in April

The 2025 film “Love Hurts” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on April 1st via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Jonathan Eusebio directed the movie. It stars Ke Huy Quan, Ariana DeBose, Daniel Wu, Mustafa Shakir, Lio Tipton, Cam Gigandet, and Sean Astin.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K will come as a “combo pack” (with its Blu-ray counterpart included). Both releases will feature a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 2025 film “Flight Risk” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on April 1st via Lionsgate. A 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook will also be available, as an Amazon exclusive, on the same date. The film, directed by Mel Gibson, stars Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, Topher Grace, and Leah Remini.

The tech specs for the 4K releases include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for an update. Each of the releases will come as a “combo pack.” With the 4K getting its Blu-ray counterpart included, and the Blu-ray getting its DVD counterpart included. All of the physical media releases of this film will come with a digital copy.
