The 2019 Kevin Smith film “Jay & Silent Bob Reboot“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 21st, 2020 via Lionsgate. The film stars Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jason Lee, Rosario Dawson, Shannon Elizabeth, Justin Long, Joey Lauren Adams, Harley Quinn Smith, Treshelle Edmond, Alice Wen, Donnell Rawlings, Melissa Benoist, Val Kilmer, Brian O’Halloran, and Stan Lee.

UPDATE: The film on Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon. The tech specs for the release have now been announced to include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

The 2019 film “Snatchers“ starring Mary Nepi is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 18th, 2020 via Warner. The film, co-directed by Stephen Cedars & Benji Kleiman, co-stars Gabrielle Elyse, J.J. Nolan, Austin Fryberger, Nick Gomez, and Rich Fulcher. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1.78:1 aspect ratio video and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it [the Blu-ray] will also contain a DVD and digital code (copy) of the film. UPDATE: This film on Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon.

Animated film Abominable on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2019 DreamWorks and Pearl animated film “Abominable” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 17th via Universal. The film, directed by Jill Culton & co-directed by Todd Wilderman, features a voice cast of Chloe Bennet, Albert Tsai, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Joseph Izzo, Tsai Chin, Michelle Wong, Eddie Izzard, and Sarah Paulson. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include 2160p 4K video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and HDR10+ forms of High Dynamic Range along with Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its counterpart on Blu-ray, the Blu-ray getting the DVD counterpart, and each getting a digital code (copy) of the film included.
