The release will include both the theatrical and director’s cuts of the movie, each in 4K on its own individual 4K disc. Technical specifications for the 4K UHD Blu-ray [Discs] include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible). The audio configuration(s) include lossless Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround for the theatrical cut only. Meanwhile, the Director’s Cut will feature Dolby Atmos sound. The 3-disc set will come as a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc counterpart [featuring both cuts] included. It will also include a digital copy.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured in further detail below), an Amazon exclusive, is now available for preorder.

Paul Thomas Anderson directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, and Chase Infiniti. It’s certainly worth noting that this movie is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound.
