Read moreThe 1991 film “Thunderheart“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on January 13th, 2026, via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Michael Apted directed the film, which starred the late Val Kilmer, Sam Shepard, and Graham Greene. It co-starred Fred Ward, Fred Thompson, and Sheila Tousey.
The cinematographer Roger Deakins has approved this 4K presentation. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range, along with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 surround sound. This release will come with a digital copy, likely compatible with Movies Anywhere. Although that has yet to be confirmed.
UPDATED: The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder on Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

The 2011 science fiction/comedy “Paul“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 18th via KL Studios Classics [Kino Lorber]. Greg Mottola directed the film. It starred Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and featured the voice talent of Seth Rogen. It also co-starred Jason Bateman, Kristin Wiig, Bill Hader, Sigourney Weaver, Jane Lynch, and Jeffrey Tambor.
The theatrical cut of the movie has received a new 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative (approved by Director Greg Mottola). The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-100 disc.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon and Walmart. It was just added, so it’s at its MSRP, and you can expect that price to drop. Also, you can preorder directly via Kino Lorber’s website.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, spanning across a 2-disc set. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound, on a 2-disc set.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon. The Blu-ray, however, is not yet available at Amazon to preorder, so stay tuned for an update. You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at online retailer GRUV. Also, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder via online retailer MovieZyng. Lastly, the only bonus material set to be included with the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases is a featurette titled “The Making of The Americas.”
The 2000 film “American Psycho“ will get a 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray release on December 9th exclusively via Lionsgate Limited. Mary Harron directed the motion picture adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel (of the same title). The movie starred Christian Bale, Reese Witherspoon, Jared Leto, Chloë Sevigny, Justin Theroux, Josh Lucas, Bill Sage, Samantha Mathis, Matt Ross, and Willem Dafoe.
The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The release will be the UNRATED Uncut Version (102 minutes), not the theatrical R-rated version.
The release will include some very imaginative packaging with a certain twist for those who are fans of the Huey Lewis and the News album “Sports.” The 4K disc will come packaged inside a CD jewel case along with some business cards to die for, as well as replica credit and Blockbuster membership cards (as seen below).
The 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available exclusively for preorder via the Lionsgate Limited website. It’s also worth noting that a VHS “Be Kind, Rewind” edition of the film will also be available in December via Lionsgate Limited as an exclusive. The bonus materials set to be included on this new 4K set are listed below.

The 2006 film “Nacho Libre” is officially making its debut on 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 9th via KL Studio Classics (Kino Lorber). Jared Hess co-wrote and directed the movie. It starred Jack Black, Ana de la Reguera, Héctor Jiménez, Darius Rose, Moises Arias, and Cesar Gonzalez.
This has received a 4K Scan of the 35mm original camera negative. It starred Shauna Macdonald, Natalie Mendoza, Alex Reid, Saskia Mulder, MyAnna Buring, Nora-Jane Noone, and Oliver Milburn. This release will include both the Theatrical and Extended Cuts of the film.
