Read moreThe 1967 motion picture “Point Blank” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on April 21st via The Criterion Collection.
John Boorman directed the movie, which starred Lee Marvin. It co-starred Angie Dickinson, Keenan Wynn, Carroll O’Connor, Lloyd Bochner, Michael Strong, Sharon Acker, and John Vernon.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) with uncompressed Linear PCM Mono sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with LPCM Mono sound. The 4K release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.
This movie has received a new 4K digital restoration, supervised and approved by director John Boorman. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon. The 2025 “remake” of “Anaconda” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray on March 17th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Tom Gormican directed and co-wrote the movie, based on the 1997 film of the same title. It stars Paul Rudd and Jack Black. The supporting cast includes Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The show, which airs on AppleTV, has run for four seasons, with a fifth coming soon. Its cast includes Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Sarah Jones, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey W. Johnson, Coral Peña, and Wrenn Schmidt.

The show, established as a follow-up to the original “Karate Kid” films, ran from 2018 through 2025 for a total of six seasons, primarily on Netflix. It starred Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. Its supporting cast included Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, and Martin Kove. The tech specs for the Blu-ray set include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, spanning across a 13-disc set.

EDITORIAL NOTE: This is the very first time in the United States that this show has come to Blu-ray Disc. Stateside, the show has received individual DVD releases for the first five seasons. The final (sixth) season will also get a DVD release on March 3rd. For now, this set will be the only way to own the shown in HD on physical media in its entirety. Eventually you will presumably see individual releases for each season, but that’s only based on my own speculation.


The 2025 Walt Disney Animation Studios sequel “Zootopia 2” will get physical media releases on 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray Disc on March 3rd, via Disney.
The movie was co-directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. It features the voice talents of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Ke Huy Qua, as well as Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Idris Elba, Shakira, Patrick Warburton, Bonnie Hunt, and Danny Trejo.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound on a BD-50 disc. The 4K and Blu-ray releases will each be a 2-disc “combo pack,” with the 4K including its Blu-ray counterpart, and the Blu-ray including its DVD counterpart. Both releases will contain a digital code (copy) of the movie compatible with Movies Anywhere.
You can’t yet find either the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) or the Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon or elsewhere, but stay tuned for an update on that.

It’s most certainly worth noting that Richard Pryor actually directed the special himself, which he co-wrote with the late great Paul Mooney.
The tech specs on 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono sound, on a BD-66 disc. It seems no digital code (copy) or bonus materials will be included on this release.

James L. Brooks wrote and directed the film. It stars Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Spike Fearn, Rebecca Hall, Julie Kavner, Becky Ann Baker, Joey Brooks, Albert Brooks, and Woody Harrelson.
The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with lossless 5.1 surround sound. The release will include a digital code (copy) compatible with Movies Anywhere. It’s not yet available for preorder at Amazon or Walmart, but stay tuned for an update on that. The motion picture has received a new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) and lossless (or possibly uncompressed) sound, on a BD-100 disc. This 2-disc set will be a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart.
