Commissions Earned
The 1980 film “Coal Miner’s Daughter” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 9th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Michael Apted directed the movie, which won an Academy Award for “Best Actress in a Leading Role.” It starred Sissy Spacek, Tommy Lee Jones, Levon Helm, Beverly D’Angelo, and William Sanderson.
The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. The 2-disc release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, along with a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.
You cannot yet find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon or Walmart, but stay tuned for an update. However, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at online retailer GRUV. And, no, I’m not earning a commission yet on even those GRUV sales.
