The 2020 film The Hunt comes to 4K in April

The 2020 film “The Hunt” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on April 22nd via Scream Factory. The film, directed by Craig Zobel, was co-written by Nick Cuse and Damon Lindelof. It starred Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, Ike Barinholtz, Ethan Suplee, Emma Roberts, Wayne Duvall, and Glenn Howerton.

The movie is in a new 4K presentation from the original elements. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) and Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo lossless sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon and Walmart. You also can preorder directly via the Shout! Studios website. The bonus materials set to be included with the release are listed below.

2021 film Werewolves Within on Blu-ray in December

The 2021 film Werewolves Within is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 7th, via RLJE Films. The film, directed by Josh Ruben, stars Sam Richardson, Milana Vayntrub, George Basil, Sarah Burns, Catherine CurtinCheyenne Jackson, Wayne Duvall, Rebecca Henderson, Michaela Watkins, and Harvey Guillén. It’s most certainly worth noting, at the time of writing, that this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. Judging from the lack of mention in the press release, it would seem that no bonus materials will be included with this release.

Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 sound on a BD-50 (50-gigabyte dual-layered disc). The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will receive its DVD counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
