Fallout: Season Two comes to 4K and Blu-ray in May

The Amazon MGM Studios “Fallout: The Complete Second Season” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, 4K UHD Blu-ray, and Blu-ray on May 19th via Alliance Home Entertainment.

The show, based on the video game franchise of the same title, airs on Amazon Prime Video. It stars Aaron Moten, Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Johnny Pemberton, Justin Theroux, and Walton Goggins. The supporting cast includes Frances Turner, Annabel O’Hagan, Leslie Uggams, Jon Daly, Zach Cherry, and Dave Register.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p UHD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, in Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) with Dolby Atmos sound, spanning across a 3-disc set. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured further below), 4K UHD Blu-ray, and Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. NOTE: The 4K SteelBook is an Amazon exclusive.

Fallout: Season One on 4K and Blu-ray in July

UPDATED: The Amazon Prime original series “Fallout: Season One” will be released on July 8th. It will be available on 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (exclusive at Amazon), and Blu-ray Disc. Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment will distribute it. The show is based on the popular video game franchise (of the same title). Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner created the show. In its first season, the show co-stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, and Walton Goggins. The further cast includes Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, and Michael Emerson. It also features Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, and Dave Register. Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones are also part of the cast.

2013 sequel G.I. Joe Retaliation is coming to 4K in late July

The 2009 film “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on July 20th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The sequel to the 2009 film, based on the popular Hasbro action figure franchise, directed by Jon M. Chu, featured a cast of Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Ray Park, Elodie Yung, Ray Stevenson, D.J. Cotrona, Adrianne Palicki, Lee Byung-Hun, Luke Bracey, Jonathan Pryce, Walton Goggins, RZA, Joseph Mazzello, and Arnold Vosloo.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range as well as Dolby TrueHD 7.1 lossless surround sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with its Blu-ray counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included with this release will be an audio commentary, found on both the 4K and Blu-ray disc, and extras only on the Blu-ray listed below.

Fatman starring Mel Gibson comes to Blu-ray in January

The 2020 film “Fatman” starring Mel Gibson appears to be coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 26th, 2021, via Paramount, according to multiple retailers. The film, written and directed by Eshom Nelms & Ian Nelms, co-stars Walton Goggins, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Chance Hurstfield. The tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for when the title gets officially announced by the studio, likely next week. In the meantime, it’s obvious you will get a digital code (copy) of the film included with the release, judging from the cover artwork (pictured above). You can now find the Blu-ray listed for preorder over at Amazon, as well as at retailers Best Buy and Walmart. You’ll see that the 1/26/21 release date is indicated on all of those.

Words on Bathroom Walls comes to Blu-ray November

The 2020 film “Words on Bathroom Walls“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 17th via Lionsgate. The dramatic film, directed by Thor Freudenthal, stars Charlie Plummer, Taylor Russell, AnnaSophia Robb, Walton Goggins, Andy Garcia, and Molly Parker. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. UPDATE: The release date has changed now for “The Shield: The Complete Series“ on Blu-ray Disc (from 12/11) to December 18th. The release is just being pushed back one week. This news comes to us via the distributor Mill Creek Entertainment. Even online retailers such as Amazon have already reflected this change to 12/18 on their pre-order listing page.
