The 1996 film Daylight comes to 4K in March

The 1996 film “Daylight” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on March 11th via KL Studio Classics. Rob Cohen directed the film. It starred Sylvester StalloneViggo MortensenAmy BrennemanDan HedayaJay O. SandersKaren YoungClaire BloomVanessa Bell CallowayRenoly Santiago, and Sage Stallone.

The movie has received a new master from a 4K scan of the original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-100 disc. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

Harriet with Cynthia Erivo on Blu-ray January

The 2019 biographical film Harriet starring Cynthia Erivo (as Harriet Tubman) is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 28th via Universal. The film, directed by Kasi Lemmons, co-stars Leslie Odom Jr.Joe Alwyn, Clarke Peters, Vanessa Bell Calloway, and Janelle Monáe. Tech specs for the release include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD counterpart of the film included as well as a digital code (copy) of the film. The Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
