The 2018 Bryan Singer directed film “Bohemian Rhapsody” starring Rami Malek is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 12th via Fox. The film is a biographical story of the band Queen and leads up to their 1985 Live Aid performance. The supporting cast includes Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Allen Leech, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers.
Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K UHD Blu-ray getting a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray Disc getting a DVD, and both including a Digital Copy of the film. The 2018 Matthew Heineman directed film “A Private War“ starring Rosamund Pike is coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 5th, 2019 via Universal. The film is based on a true story and also “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes. A Private War co-stars Jamie Dornan, Tom Hollander, and Stanley Tucci. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound.
