The 2022 film “Amsterdam” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 6th via 20th Century Studios (Disney). The film, which was written and directed by David O. Russell, stars Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Chris Rock, Anna Taylor-Joy, Zoe Saldana, Mike Myers, Michael Shannon, Timothy Olyphant, Taylor Swift, Rami Malek, and Robert De Niro.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound. Yes, the Blu-ray does not get the Dolby Atmos mix. The 4K release will be in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and both versions will include a digital code (copy) of the film.
You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray both available for preorder over at retailer Best Buy. Also, over at retailer Walmart, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder as well. The only bonus material set to be included with both releases is listed below.

Amazon Commissions Earned
The 1997 sequel “Scream 2” seems to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in standard (pictured above) and limited edition “25th anniversary” SteelBook forms on October 4th via Paramount Home Entertainment, according to retailers. The film, directed by Wes Craven, starred Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Jamie Kennedy, Jerry O’Connell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Joshua Jackson, Timothy Olyphant, Liev Schreiber, Jada Pinkett Smith, Omar Epps, and Heather Graham.
As this title has not yet been officially announced, that I can tell, the tech specs for the 4K releases have not yet been detailed but you can for sure expect a 2160p video presentation with at least HDR10 form of high dynamic range and likely a lossless 5.1 surround sound mix. The releases will both come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray counterpart included as well as a digital code (copy) of the film. The bonus materials should include all of the previous extras found on the Blu-ray and perhaps some new content, but no word on that yet. Stay tuned for an update. The 2019 Quentin Tarantino film “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 10th, via Sony. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Emile Hirsch, Margaret Qualley, Timothy Olyphant, Julia Butters, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, and Al Pacino. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. Both the standard 4K and Blu-ray versions will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting the Blu-ray counterpart, the Bu-ray getting the DVD counterpart and each getting a digital code (copy) of the film. The film is now available to preorder on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc (in standard releases) over at Amazon. There will also be a very cool retro “Collector’s Edition“ of the film released on 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured below) which will include the physical extras like a 45rpm vinyl single of “Rick Dalton” music, a collectible MAD Magazine from 1969, and a fictional movie poster (starring “Rick Dalton”) in very beautiful packaging. This collector’s edition is now available for preorder over at Amazon.
