Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island Terror Time Blu-ray

The 1998 animated film “Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island“ comes to Blu-ray via a “Terror Time Collector’s Edition” set on October 28th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. Jim Stenstrum directed the straight-to-video movie. It featured the voice talents of Scott Innes, Billy West, Mary Kay Bergman, Frank Welker, B.J. Ward, Adrienne Barbeau, Tara Strong, and Mark Hamill.
The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.37:1 (or perhaps 1.33:1) aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-50 disc. The Terror Time Collector’s Edition Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon.
The release will include some physical extras (pictured below) and the following bonus materials.

- Collectible O-card slipcover
- Clear Blu-ray case with interior artwork and chapter list inside
- Audio commentary by filmmaker and Scooby historian Matt Dugan
- Official Trailer
- 12-page Collectible Booklet filled with images and an essay written by Matt Dugan

EDITORIAL NOTE: This is not the first time that this movie has been available on the Blu-ray format. In fact, it was released just last year (in 2024) via Warner Archive in a double-feature.
Loki Second Season gets a 4K SteelBook in December

The Disney+ original series from Marvel Studios “Loki: The Complete Second Season“ will be available on 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on December 3rd via Marvel Studios (Disney). The show stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Eugene Cordero, Neil Ellice, Tara Strong, and Ke Huy Quan.
The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.20:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, spanning across a 2-disc set (each on a BD-100 disc).
UPDATED: The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook is now available for preorder at Amazon and retailer Walmart. This will be a collector’s edition set physically featuring 3 exclusive concept art cards. The bonus materials set to be included with the release are listed below.

DC Universe movie Batman: Hush on 4K and Blu-ray
The DC Universe animated movie “Batman: Hush” is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on August 13th via Warner. The animated film, based on the graphic novel (of the same title) written by Jeph Loeb, was directed by Justin Copeland and it features a voice cast of Jason O’Mara, Peyton List, Peyton List, Rebecca Romijn, Jennifer Morrison, Rainn Wilson, Jerry O’Connell, Tara Strong, Vanessa Williams, and Jason Spisak. Tech specs for the release have not been fully detailed but it has been obviously mentioned (in the press release) that the 4K will include HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range. Both films should receive 5.1 lossless mixes, likely in the DTS-HD Master Audio format, although that has not yet been confirmed. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray are both now available for pre-order over at Amazon. The release will both come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray included, the Blu-ray getting a DVD included, and both getting a digital copy of the film. Bonus materials set to be included on the releases are listed below.

The 2018 DC animated film “Teen Titans Go! To The Movies“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 30th via Warner. The film, directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, features the voice talents of Greg Cipes (“Beast Boy”), Scott Menville (“Robin”), Khary Payton (“Cyborg”), Tara Strong (“Raven”), Hynden Walch (“Starfire”), Will Arnett (“Slade”), Kristen Bell (“Jade Wilson”), Eric Bauza (“Aquaman”), and Nicolas Cage (“Superman”).
Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and digital copy of the film included. You can now find the Blu-ray available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. DC Universe film “Batman: The Killing Joke” on 4K UHD Blu-ray in September

The 2016 DC Universe original animated film “Batman: The Killing Joke” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 11th via Warner, according to an early alert to retailers. The tech specs and bonus materials have not yet been detailed. The bonus materials should be pretty much identical to the previous (2016) Blu-ray release. However, stay tuned for any updates regarding this release. The 4K will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and Digital Copy of the film included. This now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon.
