The Mauritanian with Jodie Foster on Blu-ray in May

The 2021 film “The Mauritanian” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 11th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film, based on the book (originally published as “Guantánamo Diary”) was directed by Kevin Macdonald, stars Jodie Foster, Tahar Rahim, Zachary Levi, Saamer Usmani, Shailene Woodley, and Benedict Cumberbatch. It’s certainly worth noting that actress Jodie Foster won a Golden Globe award for her performance in the film. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound on a BD-50 disc. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with its DVD counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray available to preorder over at Amazon.
