Liar Liar gets a 25th Anniversary Blu-ray in January

The 1997 comedy “Liar Liar“ will be getting a “25th Anniversary Edition” Blu-ray Disc release on January 18th, 2022 via Shout Select (Shout! Factory). The film, directed by Tom Shadyac, starred Jim Carrey, Maura Tierney, Justin Cooper, Cary Elwes, Anne Haney, Jennifer Tilly, Swoosie Kurtz, Jason Bernard, and Amanda Donohoe. This will be spine number 127 in the Shout Select line.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround and 2.0 Stereo sound. You can now find the Shout Select Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon as well as directly through Shout! Factory’s website. 1988 film “Bright City, Big Lights” with Michael J. Fox on Blu-ray in November

The 1988 James Bridges directed film “Bright City, Big Lights“ starring Michael J. Fox is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 20th via MVD Entertainment, as part of their MVD Rewind Collection label. The film, based on the novel written by Jay McInerney, co-starred Kiefer Sutherland, Phoebe Cates, and Swoosie Kurtz. Tech specs for the release include 1080p video in the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Uncompressed Linear PCM 2.0 Stereo sound. This is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. 2018 remake of “Overboard” with Anna Ferris is coming to Blu-ray in July

The 2018 remake of “Overboard” starring Anna Ferris and Eugenio Derbez is coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 17th via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Rob Greenberg, is a remake of the 1987 film of the same title. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and Digital Copy of the film also included. The Blu-ray is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon.
