The 2025 dark comedy “The Roses” is slated for a Blu-ray Disc release on November 25th via Searchlight Pictures (Disney). Jay Roach directed the movie, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman. It co-stars Andy Samberg, Kate McKinnon, Allison Janney, Sunita Mani, Ncuti Gatwa, Zoë Chao, and Jamie Demetriou. This movie is a reimagining of the 1989 classic film “The War of the Roses,” based on the novel by Warren Adler.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will include a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere. The Blu-ray is not yet available for preorder at Amazon or Walmart, but stay tuned for an update on that.
