The 1994 animated film “The Swan Princess“ will be coming to Blu-ray Disc in a “25th Anniversary Edition” on October 29th via Sony MOD. The film, directed by Richard Rich, featured the voice talents of Michelle Nicastro, Howard McGillin, Jack Palance, John Cleese, Steven Wright, and Sandy Duncan. Tech specs for the release include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with restored DTS-HD Master Audio sound (presumably in a 5.1 configuration). This release will only be available online because it is a Sony MOD (manufacture-on-demand) Blu-ray release. That said, you can now find the Blu-ray available for pre-order at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

The 2019 film “Men In Black: International” (a.k.a. “MIB International”) is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on September 3rd via Sony, according to multiple retailers. The film which was directed by F. Gary Gray stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. UPDATE: The title has now been officially announced. Tech specs for the 4K and Blu-ray have not yet been detailed but you can expect HDR10 and Dolby Atmos for the 4K release. Stay tuned for more on specifics for it and the Blu-ray, as I’ll try to get that info out of Sony.
Both of the releases will come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray Disc, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and both getting a digital code (copy) of the film. The film, based on the TV series of the same title and directed by McG, starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Lui, Bill Murray, Sam Rockwell, Tim Curry, Kelly Lynch, John Forsythe, Crispin Glover, LL Cool J, Tom Green, and Luke Wilson. Tech specs for the 4K (although vague in the press release) would seem to include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio from a new scan with the HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range along with Dolby Atmos sound and even the original DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 mix.
