The 2000 film Red Planet comes to 4K in November

The 2000 film “Red Planet” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a Limited Edition set on November 18th via Arrow Video. Antony Hoffman directed the movie. It starred Val Kilmer, Carrie-Ann Moss, Tom Sizemore, Benjamin Bratt, Simon Baker. Also, it co-starred Terence Stamp, Jessica Morton, Caroline Bossi, Bob Neill, and Neil Ross.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10, along with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The 4K UHD Blu-ray Limited Edition is now available for preorder at Amazon. Also, you can preorder the 4K UHD Blu-ray Limited Edition directly via Arrow Video’s website. George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead on 4K in October

The 2005 horror film “Land of the Dead” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 15th via Scream Factory. The film, written & directed by George A. Romero, starred Simon Baker, John Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper, Asia Argento, Robert Joy, and Eugene Clark.

The release features a new 2024 4K restoration from the original camera negative. The 4K UHD Blu-ray will include the UNRATED (97-minute) version. The release will come in a “combo pack” with Blu-ray Disc counterparts included (for each version). The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos as well as DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo lossless sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray Discs include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 Stereo lossless surround.
