Anaconda “remake” comes to 4K and Blu-ray in March

Commissions Earned

The 2025 “remake” of “Anaconda” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray on March 17th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Tom Gormican directed and co-wrote the movie, based on the 1997 film of the same title. It stars Paul Rudd and Jack Black. The supporting cast includes Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. Both releases will come with a digital code (copy) compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured in detail below) and the Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. Also, you can preorder the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray at Walmart.
