Kevin Smith’s The 4:30 Movie on 4K and Blu-ray in November

The 2024 film “The 4:30 Movie” is coming to Blu-ray Disc and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on November 5th via Lionsgate. The film, written & directed by Kevin Smith, stars Austin Zajur, Nicholas Cirillo, Reed Northrup, Siena Agudong, Kate Micucci, Ming Chen, Betty Aberlin, Method Man, Ralph Garman, Sam Richardson, Ken Jeong, Jeff Anderson, Jason Mewes, Justin Long, Harley Quinn Smith, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, and Jason Biggs.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both the 4K SteelBook and Blu-ray releases will come as a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray Disc counterpart, the Blu-ray getting its DVD counterpart, and each getting a digital copy. You can now find the Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook exclusively available for preorder at Amazon. Yes, the 4K SteelBook will be an Amazon exclusive. However, the Blu-ray will be available at all retailers. The following bonus materials are set to be included with the releases.

2021 film Werewolves Within on Blu-ray in December

The 2021 film Werewolves Within is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 7th, via RLJE Films. The film, directed by Josh Ruben, stars Sam Richardson, Milana Vayntrub, George Basil, Sarah Burns, Catherine CurtinCheyenne Jackson, Wayne Duvall, Rebecca Henderson, Michaela Watkins, and Harvey Guillén. It’s most certainly worth noting, at the time of writing, that this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. Judging from the lack of mention in the press release, it would seem that no bonus materials will be included with this release.

The 2020 film “Promising Young Woman” starring Carey Mulligan is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 16th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film, written & directed by Emerald Fennell, co-stars Bo BurnhamAlison Brie, Adam Brody, Clancy Brown, Jennifer Coolidge, Sam Richardson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Connie Britton, Laverne Cox, and Molly Shannon. This movie has been well-received by both critics and audiences and it is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes — at the time of writing this. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound. You can now find the Blu-ray listed for preorder over at Amazon. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. The bonus materials set to be included with the release are listed below.
