Pride & Prejudice [2005] on 4K in November

The 2005 film adaptation of “Pride & Prejudice” arrives on 4K UHD Blu-ray in a standard release and 4K UHD Blu-ray “20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition” on November 25th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Joe Wright directed this adaptation of Jane Austen‘s classic novel (of the same title). The movie starred Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen, Talulah Riley, Rosamund Pike, Jena Malone, Carey Mulligan, Simon Woods, Rupert Friend, and Donald Sutherland.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The 4K standard release and Collector’s Edition set will each come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Also, each will feature a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The standard 4K UHD Blu-ray and the “20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition” 4K UHD Blu-ray gift set are each now available for preorder at Amazon. Also, you can find the 4K standard and Collector’s Edition 4K available for preorder at online retailer GRUV.

“A Private War” starring Rosamund Pike is coming to Blu-ray Disc in February

The 2018 Matthew Heineman directed film “A Private War“ starring Rosamund Pike is coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 5th, 2019 via Universal. The film is based on a true story and also “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes. A Private War co-stars Jamie Dornan, Tom Hollander, and Stanley Tucci. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The Blu-ray release will include a digital copy of the film (compatible with Movies Anywhere). You can pre-order the Blu-ray now over at Amazon. 2018 film “Beirut” starring Jon Hamm coming to Blu-ray in July

The 2018 Brad Anderson directed film “Beirut” starring Jon Hamm and Rosamund Pike is coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 3rd via Universal Studios. The film has been “certified fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes, as you’ll see endorsed on the cover art (pictured above). The tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Maser Audio sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and include a Digital Copy of the film via Movies Anywhere. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
