Horror film Oddity is getting a Blu-ray in October

The 2024 horror film “Oddity” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd via Shudder distributed by RLJ Entertainment. The film, written & directed by Damian McCarthy, stars Gwilym Lee, Carolyn Bracken, Tadhg Murphy, Caroline Menton, Jonathan French, and Steve Wall. It’s most certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon. These bonus materials will be included.

The 2024 horror film “In a Violent Nature” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd via Shudder & RLJ Entertainment. The film, written & directed by Chris Nash, stars Ry Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic, Cameron Love, Reece Presley, Liam Leone, and Charlotte Creaghan. It’s worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

This release will come as a “Collector’s Edition.” The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.33:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.1:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless sound. “Galveston” starring Ben Foster on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in December

The 2018 film “Galveston” starring Ben Foster and Elle Fanning is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 11th via RLJ Entertainment, according to early alerts to retailers. The film, directed by Mélanie Laurent, co-stars Lili ReinhartRobert Aramayo, and Beau Bridges. Tech specs for the release and bonus materials have not yet been detailed. It is known that the 4K release will come in the from of a “combo pack” getting a Blu-ray included of the film – also likely for bonus materials. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are available to pre-order over at Amazon.

“Beyond the Sky” with Ryan Carnes and Jordan Hinson on Blu-ray in November

The 2018 Fulvio Sestito directed film Beyond the Sky starring Ryan Carnes and Jordan Hinson is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 6th via RLJ Entertainment, according to an early alert to retailers. Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for any updates. The film co-stars Peter Stormare, Dee Wallace, Claude DuhamelMartin Sensmeier, and Don Stark. The title on Blu-ray is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon.

2018 film “Arizona” comes to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in early October

The 2018 film “Arizona” starring Rosemarie DeWitt and Danny McBride is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 16th via RLJ Entertainment. The film, directed by Jonathan Watson, also co-stars Luke WilsonElizabeth GilliesKaitlin OlsonDavid Alan GrierLolli Sorenson, and Seth Rogen. Tech specs for the release and bonus materials have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned. It is known (via the art pictured above) that the 4K release will also include a Blu-ray. The film is available for PRE-ORDER on both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray over at Amazon. The 2018 Panos Cosmatos written and directed horror / thriller Mandy starring Nicolas Cage is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 30th via RLJ Entertainment. The film has received much critical acclaim and as a result, at time of writing, carries a “Certified Fresh” badge over at Rotten Tomatoes with a shocking 98% rating based on critic reviews. Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned tuned for an update. The title is available for PRE-ORDER now over at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Best Buy.

Fangoria’s “Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich” on 4K UHD Blu-ray in September

The 2018 Fangoria presented sequel “Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich” starring Thomas Lennon is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on September 25th, according to an early alert to retailers. It would seem the release will be distributed by RLJE Films (formerly Image Entertainment). Tech specs and bonus materials for both releases have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for any updates. The releases will both come in the form of “combo pack” (judging from the cover art) and will include the film on previous formats. Meaning, the 4K will get a Blu-ray, and the Blu-ray will get a DVD of the film included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon, while the Blu-ray is not yet listed.
